Dry molasses is actually liquid molasses sprayed onto a grain meal residue that acts as a carrier for the molasses. This carrier offers a carbon source for beneficial microorganisms. When applied as a soil amendment Dry Molasses serves as a microbial food source helping to stimulate beneficial bacteria within soil.
Dry Molasses is often used as a feed supplement for livestock.
Dry Molasses is also known to repel fire ants.
