Prior to ordering your composting worms we recommend preparing bedding materials in advance of their arrival. It is always best to prepare the habitat for your worms 5-7 days prior to introducing worms. This will allow the microbial life within the bedding materials to develop and aid in a stress-free transition into their new environment.
Providing a healthy habitat for your worms with the proper amounts of air, water, enviromental control, and food will reward you, your plants and soils with many benefits for years to come.
